Why are your fireboxes so much bigger than others on the market?

That’s an easy one. In Australia we have very dense wood, this means that you need more oxygen to keep it from choking. The bigger Firebox allows for a better flow of Oxygen as well as the ability to rotate hot wood onto the fire by placing cold wood inside to the side.

What is the temperature difference across the pit?

When running a clean fire in normal temperatures there should be little to no difference across the pit. SC Smokers use a heat management plate that is Keyed so that you run the same temperature every time.

How thick is the metal?

Our smokers are all made out of 6mm steel. Some of our Commercial smokers can be optioned up to thicker steel.

What options are available?

Our standard options on our smokers are; Wooden Shelf, Raw Finish Steel, and Rotisserie. We can do custom options but these will need to be quoted up and have a lead time.
